Need advice on subwoofer choice guys!

Need advice on subwoofer choice guys!

After some doing some searches on the forums i still haven't found an answer to what i was looking for.
I'm planning to get a ZENCLOSURES box because the 1080 box just looks too weird to me, but i don't know what sub i should put in. Should i get the one with 2 10inch subs or just 1? Also, would it have ample space for an IDMAX sub?

The zenclosures looks good, but it's waaaay too small for an idmax sub. Mounting depth wise and volume wise. I went with 2 IDQ10s in my own box based on the zenclosure design and I thought it was still too small. Low frequency response just didn't suffice, so I had to take one out and seal up the other hole. But then again, I'm a low bass nut so that might work for you.

Lookup the specs for the Zenclosure box with the volume requirements for the sub you plan to install. If it doesn't add up, you must move on.

I'm not sure if the sub will fit since the box design is so shallow and the sub depth is so deep. That would be my main concern.

i guess i'll go with 2 4080 boxes with IDMAX 10 inches sealed.... good or no guys?

I don't know about the IDMAX 10, but I have 2 4080 boxes with 10w6's and I'm happy with them.

I don't think the ID max fits in the 4080 enclosures due to mounting depth.

get a cvr 07 800 watts...very good sub for the money only 68 bucks....trust me it will work fine...

an IDmax is most likely going to require a custom box. They are great subs. If you dont mind giving up the space I would just make a box.

12" MTX 9500 sub. with thunder elite 1000w mono. I only paid 370 for both from my accomodation. Sounds great

i was thinkin bout setting up 2 mtx 9500's but im not sure what *** would be best for them. everywhere i look seems to point me back in the direction of a zenclosure and my subs are way to big for that box. does anyone have any ideas??? i wouldnt mind getting 2 seperate boxes.

will...i was going to try and do id max 10's in the same enclosure you will need custom ones built or a custom box. im running each of mine with an alpine mrd-1005 and have a 250 amp high output alternator. 1 should be plenty unless youre doing sq or spl comps

i already ordered a custom box for the 9500's, but i dont see why you nee a better alternator than what you already have, you would be better off just getting a small battery in the trunk or a decent cap.
