Thumbs down CD player shorts out speakers/balance

I have a weird problem going on with my CD player...

Whenever I play a CD:

If I hit a bump, accelerate too quick, or brake too hard, the speakers will turn off on the right side of the car, or i will lose the back right speaker. Sometimes they all go out on me. But as soon as I hit my dashboard with my hand, jab the brakes, or even a nice bump in the road, they all turn back on. Sometimes it's very sensitive and they short in and out like crazy...

It's not the wiring because it only happens when I play CDs. The Radio plays just perfect! This is getting REALLY annoying! haha

Any ideas on how to fix this???

Thanks,

Steve

sounds like the cd laser is screwed, or on it's way out. is it factory?

The only fix is to go aftermarket. Perfectly good reason to buy a DD
