Where is the exact location of the leak? It doesn't rain too much in Cali, but when it does, it comes down hard most of the time. I don't want to have to go through a new set of 10's each time it rains.

If it is from above where the door panel meets the window, I was thinking maybe some weather stripping could solve the issue.

that's likely where it would come from... I don't think it's an issue if you have a newer car. but if you've got like an 03/04 it could become a bit of an issue - aging weatherstripping just won't seal like it did 5 years ago.

Took the door panel apart today and yes, it definitely leaks. I could see some dirt and a little splashage on the bottom below the speaker so it may come from the bottom... Awesome, eh? And I have an 06 in Tucson!

After opening the driver's side up, definitely not a good thing. Whole panel was dirty, top and bottom. Window motor covered in dirt. Should I be concerned? Speakers are protected for the most part, but this seems like a major problem.

I've seen a lot of cars with leaking doors... generally it's not a huge problem... if it's retaining a lot of water you will have a MASSIVE problem
