I have a question I guess it doesn't matter now!! We pay Infiniti this money for a Bose system in the car! I have an 04 coupe and my buddy has an 06 coupe! We both removed the head units and tweeters! On the head unit and tweeter in both cars it said made by Clarion!!! Where's the Bose we paid for? The face plate and speaker covers say Bose is that what's made by Bose because everything said Clarion?

if it were just the speakers id say someone replaced the stock bose speakers ..

Bose only makes the speakers, it has been determined a while back that the head units were outsourced to clarion.

it didnt matter to me, the whole system wasnt worth the money anyways. CD playback issues in some, sedans with a sub, coupes without, and overall, a very limited frequency playback through the paper speakers. Not High quality or worth the money IMO.

 

yea head unit says clarion ... mines broke a bunch of times , i would know!

 

The less Bose you have, the better.

 

Yes Bose is a speaker mfg. not an electronics mfg.

Clarion has been making the head units for Nissan for Many years.

Bose does design and engineer systems but then some parts will be out sourced.

 

No highs, no lows, it MUST be Bose...

but whatever, all the more motivation to get creative and build a sound system that meets your needs. maybe that was their plan all along... (not).
