So I'm going to put in either a Z110BT or wait for the X920BT - I have read every thread on here about filling the gap around the edges for the JDM kit.

I'm leaning towards waiting for the X920BT because it isn't motorized and I can re-mount it flush to the finisher since the screen doesn't move. My question is - what is the best way to fill in the gap? I found a Nissan 350z scoshe trim ring - is this the one I use for the G?

I would perfer to have something that fits totally flush and perfectly fills the gap.

Need help guys - anyone have experience with this?

I think the most common piece used is just a generic Scosche trim ring, not sure if that differs from the 350Z ring at all.

If you need a slightly thicker trim ring, the Metra 99-9999 might be the way to go, but you will have to use a Dremel to get the best fit. I used it to inset my Pioneer F90BT slightly.

It's just a matter of whether you cut to fill the gap inside the ring or from behind like I did.
