Re: NAVBOX TEST RUN COMPLETE

I see.... but can I put another external video source into this? X-Box is great and all, but it can't do stuff like karaoke and surf the web. Either way I'll sign up for it. Where to mount the X-Box?

The interface is $149.00. Additional expenses will be required to get the audio into the head (Pac Inteface or RF Modulator)

Re: NAVBOX TEST RUN COMPLETE

I sold Benzino a NavBox interface last week and he just ran with it. He has it fully integrated with the Homelink buttons to power the xbox and switch modes. He did a great install. I have received many compliments on the video quality from Benzito and other who have performed the install. I have a link to a movie of Benzito's installation below. Unfortunately the video is a little pixelated to keep the size small. Do not let the movie fool you, the video quality is great.

The movie can be viewed here:

Sorry...that site is a work in progress.

Re: NAVBOX TEST RUN COMPLETE

Where to get this installed in Socal? I want to have this done ASAP. If it works out well, I can return my iPod (unopened) and install the X-Box. Anyone knows a good website for hacking the X-Box? (linex, Media player, ripping, HDD hacking....)

Re: NAVBOX TEST RUN COMPLETE

I can mod an xbox for you and send it along with the interface if you like. I think I have the best modding prices on the net or I will beat any legitimate online price. You should e-mail me if you more info. Generatorlabs@verizon.net. As far as installing it: it is basically a do-it-yourself kind of kit. If you are a little scared then any reputable radio shop in your area should be able to do it.

Re: NAVBOX TEST RUN COMPLETE

Generator, I just e-mailed you.

btw: What do I do if all of my homelink buttons are used? I know it sounds unbelivable...... but I need all three buttons. Is there another way to power on the X-box and NAV Box? Anyway to intergrate the X-Box on/off to the audio in? FM Modulator is really not the best way to go.

Re: NAVBOX TEST RUN COMPLETE

Well you dont have to use the Homelink buttons. The remote device that Benzito bought has its own remote control. He just programmed that remote into the home link buttons. You could just hang that remote on the visor or something.

The remote control that Microsoft sells wont work because it is infra-red. You want to be able to use RF.

Someone suggested I should fly to Cali to do an install for them. Why? The install is simple and there are already guys in Cali who have the install done. Maybe they could help you for fee.
