Re: NAVBOX TEST RUN COMPLETE

yeah I'm right in nassau county like 20 minutes from the city.
Do you sell and install these units?
I definitely like the homelink idea, just will the xbox have to be changed in anyway? I have the halo edition xbox which i don't want to have to modify in any way. If it does I'll just pickup another xbox.

Re: NAVBOX TEST RUN COMPLETE

Modding the xbox requires a mod chip to be installed and a larger harddrive to take advantage of copying games and dvd's ,Contact Generator for more info on this, For remote use by the homelink One wire must be solderd to the power switch internally, Im sure Genarator can perform this also while the xbox is apart. The Xbox will perform in both modes standard/modded and will not change in appearance in anyway.

Re: NAVBOX TEST RUN COMPLETE

This mod does not require the AVelectronics unit. That is the whole point. To get a great product at a low price. For the cost of the AVelectronics unit and the AVelectronics dvd player you could get the NavBox, and a Xbox which does so much more and some other gizmos. If you already have an xbox then even better!

See the website for a mpeg movie of Benzitos install.

What is the best way to run the cables from your trunk to the head unit?

governor:
I have a customer who bought one in Cali. I could pass you his e-mail and you could talk to him about an install.

Re: NAVBOX TEST RUN COMPLETE

WOW, Finally. Thank You, Thank You.
Will a Moded XBox allow MP3 to be played through my stero system if I get the PAC (sat button), would be nice to have about 100 MP3 on the road.
I am interested in a Moded Xbox, the NavBox and other items to make the homelink button operate the system, Do you sell a Total package ready to install?

Benzito -

Why do you need the DEI 611T latching relay when that DesignTech unit has a latching function?

Re: NAVBOX TEST RUN COMPLETE

Benzito set the DesignTech remote unit to non latching mode so that he could trigger the xbox power button. Once you set the DesignTech box to pulse mode all three channels work in pulse mode. He used the Latching relay to latch the signal from one of the pulsing channels to control power to the inverter.
