yep, at first i tried pulling em off and the 2 broke, so then i used 2 small flathead screwdrivers(for glasses/computers) and undid all the clips manually. they are like little bendable hooks that you need to push together with the screwdriver. the "hooks" are on the buttons themselves and the ends of the "hooks" hold the button onto the board. so when you push the ends of the hooks inward you are able to push the hooks out of the boards holes. hopefully this explanation will make more sense after you take a look at it.

these might help, the last pic has the 3 hooks circled that need to be pushed in with a small screwdriver. the rest need to be pushed down with another small screwdriver. on the third picture, the black things on the right side need to be pushed inward and downward after you get the right side hooks done.

Wrathernaut. I finished installing finally my. Avhp4400 looks great works great until I realised I didn't install my bypass
. Went back in today, put it in. Had the car
In drive while running and it was playing videos and such. Put everything back together and now doesn't work.. Is your guess just to open everything back up and assume a wire
From the bypass came loose?

Yes.
SWI-PS connects to the wired remote input in the back of Pioneer and Sony radios.
SWI-RC emulates the infrared wireless remote that comes with your radio, and works with most radios with a infrared remote sensor.
Wired is generally better, as it doesn't require having the remote transmitter placed where the radio can see it, but some radios don't have a wired remote port.

When I ran mine, I was able to set it up so that it sits under the shifter trim. I also used the micro-relay for mine so there's a little more space for it, but this might be another option to consider. It's easy access for the future - if I ever need to replace, no need to remove the entire HU.
