04 G35 Coupe, Left Speaker Problem

Okay so on the tape mode and on the fm/am mode the speakers work perfectly fine, but as soon as i switch to disc mode the left side speakers all sound blown or real ****ed up. Anyone know what this could be?

This same thing happened to me. What you have to do, and I'm being 100% honest, is you have to hit the side of the CD player console. It worked perfectly for me. Now, my speakers sound perfect. Hope it helps.

I have the same issue, I was told that its not a wiring issue its the cd unit that is messed up...Bose didnt do a great job on the cd unit...it jams and has the same issue that your having with the left speaker...you can get the cd player fixed...but IMO id rather just upgrade to a double din, or another cd deck...no point fixing a cd player thats already garbage right?

^ it's right, most of the time.

I normally bang the driver side, the area in front of cig lighter. soft bangs to hard bangs, to medium bangs, jus try it a few times, you'll see what I mean.
Sometimes, the cd player wants to mix music and bust some scratch sounding noises.... select a different CD when it does this... before it gets stuck. you should be good to go after that...

tried doing that, but the banging isnt doing anything...it will just momentarily stop the music and then 4 sec later start again but same problem. yeah i wanna get a double din, but thats money i dont have right now lol. **** sooo many plans for this car, not enough money!

not worth spending the money to fix the cd player either..just ride it out...and when you get the money run the DD...i know it gets REALLY annoying...but just soldier it...

Dang, sorry man. It works for me every time and some of the people in this thread.

If the car is still under warranty, you should take it in to the dealer to see what they say.
