OEM navi problems

I drive an 04 6mt coupe. Recently got the 6.6 DVD for the navi. In used to navi as I own a 06 fx also but gave it to my wife. Now I'm driving the coupe and when I try and use the navi by entering street address, it always says state "California" I try n click it n it says no data found. My question is how do it change the region? I can't figure it out at all. On the fx it's pretty simple just change the region n I can navigate. Not this one. Please hell me out. Thanks

Bought a used 06 coupe and it came with a burned copy of the maps DVD and it also shows me as being in NY. Plus even when I used the locate me option it states that it’s not in range, might there be something wrong with my gps antenna?

I fixed it. Must update settings DVD first. It's the DVD u put in the car before u put the map DVD.

Ran the self diagnostic test on the GPS and the only one that came back with an error was the GPS antenna. Also my gps location indicator is red.

Could this be my antenna or need a update settings DVD first?

Don't spend money for no reason. What ever version u r using. Go n try and get the install cd for that version. Each cd has its own install cd where u boot it up to run the DVD u r currently using
