I have a 2005 coupe with both navigation and sat radio. seeing as I would like to retain the functionality of my navigation and sat radio, what is my best option? I don't need anything fancy, just an aux cord to listen to my iphone.

PA15-INFI, plug it in in the trunk with the satellite adapter and run the iPhone plug to the center console for easy access.

I have a 2007 coupe with navigation and bluetooth. However it doesn't have the SAT radio. I'm looking for something that will play/charge both iPhone and android. Will the GROM-USB2-NIS02 be the correct one to buy? Would I also have to buy the GROM USB Bluetooth Aux Adapter as well? i attached a picture of my radio if it helps.

If you're trying to do bluetooth, get the bluetooth adapter, otherwise, that'll do all you want.

Pictures of setup using PA-INFI

First of all, this thread is great!! Thanks so much!

I have a G35 2004.

Do you have any pictures showing exactly how to route the cables from the trunk to the center console? What's the best setup?

Also, from your first post it appears that there is not an option for bluetooth to be installed using the SAT wire harness in the trunk? Just confirming.

I recommend just routing it under the carpet over the driveshaft hump, just like I do the RCAs when running audio signals to the trunk. Just remove all the screws holding the center console down and get something long to lift the carpet, and run some fish tape with the wires through there.

Thanks for all of your work on this topic Wrathernaut. I've got a 2003 G35 Sedan w/SAT button. I have the stereo pulled out for repair and am looking into my option of listening to my Iphone through the stereo. I was hoping to do it on the cheap (with good quality) via Option B, but my VIN ends in 302XXX so according to another thread the car does not have the adapter.

After looking into the PAC ISNI531, PAC told me the unit is not compatible with 2003. So, it looks like I'll have to shell out some dough for USA SPEC PA15-NIS or GROM-USB2P-NIS02, right?

All of those options require the same radio, if one doesn't work, none will.

According to an old post from InfinitiPartsMan, says VINs under 321894 (sedan) are not pre-wired for satellite in the trunk, but if they have a SAT button they're not the early 2003 radios, which were incapable of using the adapters which attach to the back of the radio. So, according to that, you can use any of the nissan adapters which connect to the radio.

Anyone tried hooking up an iPad or iPad mini using the behind factory installation? Does it work?

I'm talking about behind the factory installation, and get a 30pin-to-8pin adapter to connect an iPad mini.

I'm in the same situation, '05 sedan with Bose, sat button, sat receiver installed. All works except not currently subscribing to sat radio. Option B looks good, because it's simple and what I'd been doing with my older car (a '99 avalon with 6-disc changer in the the trunk. Hooked up an adapter to a 3.5mm jack in the console, controlled tunes using the ipod). Playing music through a 3.5mm jack, selected on an ipod, is all I'm looking to do. Any help on the correct 4 wires at the sat plug in the trunk to use? I saw the wire colors for an '07 in this thread, not sure if they're the same. Haven't looked behind the panels in the trunk yet, but would like to connect there and run a wire into the console. Thanks for all the info on this topic here.

Which one do most people go with on the boards here? My main concern is to be able to listen to music from my iPhone and not have to be stuck listening to the radio since my CD player does not work anymore... any help guys?

edit: I don't have Navi on my 06...I want to be able to keep the stock radio since I don't want to spend the money on double din...

You can go with the isimple setup, its inexpensive, hooks up to the stock radio and you can charge your iPhone from the adapter. There's some more info in this thread, ignore the android part. https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-electronics/440210-isimple-android.html

Hi...I have a '05 sedan with just the basic radio with the cd changer (no Bose).I tried the FM modulator that hooks to the antenna but the quality is still bad...plus I get noise when I hook up the charger to my phone (Note 3 which is my source of music). I have no SAT or CH/CHANNEL button so does that mean my only option was the FM modulator? Thank you in advance.
