2005 Dash Dissassembly

Does anyone know where I can find a guide or DIY to dissassembling the 05 dash? a coin fell behind the ashtray and now it won't close.

Id rather not take it to the dealer so they can charge me an assload..
can someone point me to a thread with pictures detailing the disseassembly or at least a good description.

I've done a couple of searches and found nothing.

thanks!

yes....follow Kia's DIY for the 05 diassembly. you don't have to go through all the steps of the 03-04 disassembly in my DIY....

removal of the shift ****? When I took mine apart, I left the shift **** on and just pushed the trim to the side. I didn't know how to take the shift **** off and I got lazy, so I didn't. I don't know why, but the hardest part was getting the side of the console back on. I think that took me 20 minutes alone. Also, the peice above the clock isn't firmly in place anymore for some reason - it comes off pretty easy.

removal of shift **** for an automatic bro...

also, remove your clock trim, put both together as one unit before reinstalling, put the bottom clips in the hole first, then bend the top down put them in the right holes, then the bottom will go in easily
