XM without prewire

XM without prewire
anyone have any success with getting an xm unit in a G that does not have the prewire? can the wire harness be purchased/installed seperately? I don't want to give up the steering wheel controls for an aftermarket head unit and don't like the quality of modulated.

Grubbs Infiniti has "WHAT"????
Did Grubbs Infiniti sell you a "wiring harness" that goes from the back of the FACTORY radio to the trunk of the car to plug in a SAT receiver???
OR...
Did Grubbs Infiniti sell you an AFTERMARKET Satellite receiver kit (that you have to tune your FM tuner to 88.1 or whatever)????
Inquiring minds would like to know!!
