the tweeter and door speakers are wired in parallel (there is only one + and one - for them in the trunk).

So when you ask about the door speakers, you are really talking about the pair.

Just FYI.

as far as ohms, I think I rear they are 4... who knows... lol

Actually I'm pretty sure that it's been said here previously that they are 2 ohm. At least the ones with the Bose premium system are.

I second this. If you're considering replacing the stock speakers with 2 ohms speakers and running them off the Bose amp, you should definately reconsider. There's nothing wrong with 2 ohm speakers, you just need to upgrade the amp as well.

Oh I was just wanting to know because I just put in a set of Focal Polykevlars that are 4 ohm. They're not as loud as stock, and I just wanted to confirm because they're getting less juice from the stock Bose amp. My Eclipse amp should be installed by this weekend.

Yep, that would be the reason.

I believe I measured a Bose sedan's speakers with an impedance meter and they were 4 ohm... but speaker output volume is not just a function of impedance.

Better speakers often have thicker, heavier cones with more mass, and stiffer suspensions, so output per watt is usually lower than cheap speakers. They could very well both be 4 ohm, and the Focals should be less efficient than the Bose.
