If you could try it with the e46 lense that would be great, I just want to make sure they can produce a similar result before I purchase. I'd be willing to paypal you $5 if you could test it out for me.

the optics of the lens is completely different and requires a custom holder, I only tested it real quick, but basically the optics is so different the spacer is like a quater of an inch far, and much of the light is lost at that distance. Im sure if the holder was enclosed it could look better. The easy answer for you is don't use it. use TSX.

That night shot looks so much better than my TL projectors.

If you come by another set of clear TL lenses you would be willing to sell please let me know.

If you can get the lights out of the headlight I can do it for you for the price of the part plus a small fee.

Will the Valeo clear lens be a direct fit onto the 06 projector?

which valeo, I assume A4? It should fit, but the optics could be different, this means you might not get the same results.

hey ivory,

this seems like a worthy mod for the 06 projectors. but question is, i'm still contemplating on going for a retrofit or not. do u think it's still worth doing the TSX retrofit in an 03 coupe headlight? Maybe i'll just buy an 06 now on ebay or the forums and just do THIS mod to get the same effect. What do u think light guru? =)

TSX output is not comparable to the 06 Stock with modification. Also with the bi-xenon feature, it has better functionality and brighter with high beams.

So even tho it could cost a little more, but you potentially get way more than it costs.
