My driver side powerwindow stopped working again, so I followed this procedure and it works again.

Thanks a lot g35man04.

Please help!!!

I changed out my drivers side window motor and the new window was going up and down fine EXCEPT every time I opened the door the window would keep going down but not go back up when it closed.

So I tried multiple times to do the window motor reset and it WASNT working. So I go back in to reread the intructions again, confirming I was doing it right, and I go back and the drivers side window doesnt move AT ALL now.

Please help! What could've happened?? I need to get this working and get my door back together!

thats funny you say that because that was happening on my window motor as well and I couldnt figure it out...I took it up to Infiniti and my whole regulator part where the window motor attaches was fully stripped out..instead of a square it happened to be a circle so my motor wouldnt catch anymore...

When you hit the up or down button now can you hear it trying to move? or do you know hear anything at all?

If I hold it for more than 5 seconds I hear one click. Any ideas? How much did this cost you to get fixed?

well I spent right at 400.00 to have it repaired....the part was only like 100.00 but 300.00 was the labor charge.....they have to pull apart the whole door including the glass.

thanks for the DIY g35man. my passenger side window decided to not work today. When I tried to auto down or up, both drivers and passenger side switches just clicks like the window is already all the way down or up. So is it the regulator? or the motor? thanks again.

I've been there, I just replaced my motor my self after go to the infiniti dealership, they were charging about $700 bucks to get it fixed there,it was fairly simple to fix, took about a 45 mins to an hour to diy... just make sure you keep track of all the screws you take off... good luck...

sounds like the regulator if its still clicking just not going down...with that being said its easy to check each by performing my diy.

I just tried my windows again today and BOTH of the windows were not going up or down at all. Does any one know what could cause BOTH not to work? Do I just have to take it in at this point?

It would be nice to get some more info on what the problem could be before taking it in and potentially get raped from not knowing what Im paying for.

I had that exact same thing happen to me, mine was the window motor, same window (passenger side)... what I did was change the window motor and I still going strong... It's a really simple and inexpensive repair if you have the basic tools, socket wrench and screw drivers... Good Luck... PM me if you have any questions of the repair...

what I meant was the relays actually within the switches. Mine went out which caused both windows to not work. it was my main relay switch for both passenger and driver. its the relay that sends the signals to each window switch.
