I have a 5/16 and it clears easily. Engine cover will have to be removed though.

I have HKS RS Coilovers and I did not have to modify them or the strut bar. They barely clear the mounting bracket. I can still adjust them without removing the bar as well.

On the highest setting the bar doesn't touch the under part of the hood. Tried the old powder test that Kenchan did to confirm. Guess the sedan hood has more clearance than the coupe hood. .....
According to dklau33 the ARC had no problems in a 04 sedan. If there is no difference between the strut towers between the 04 and 05 - then ARC replica should be fine. But we won't know for sure until someone tests fits it when the replica comes out.

I don't know if MREV+ makes the plenum taller, but I have MREV2 and a 5/16. With the cover on, the bar hits the hood.

Test fitment and everything is done already. The prototype has been on my car for the last month or so. Just waiting for the final product to arrive ... I wish it was here already too, hopefully not too much longer....

Did you notice a big difference when using the prototype? Will you be able to tell us more about what materials and fabrication methods are used?

I noticed a difference... but each person's opinion is going to be different as far as if there is a big or little difference. But I can tell you that I definitely feel more confident on the twisties and freeway on ramps.

All the details as far as materials and methods will be provided once the product is here and ready to be shipped out.

So far - in all the threads on the ARC or VRT STBs, there has not been a negative comment. Both bars seem to work just great. Something that should have come from the factory on a car of this caliber, IMO. Not to sound like a broken record, but my VRT is still working great. It's probably the best mod I have done.
