Replacement rotors for Brembo brakes

Found these stop tech replacement rotors. Anyone use them (the slotted for Brembo brakes)?

http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=4900

I'm planning on using Project Mu pads, and these rotors seem to be decently priced. My other option was the slotted Brembo rotors, which were $50 more expensive.

Our rotors are premium quality and are every bit as good as the OEM Brembo parts if not better. We maintain the factory pillar vane design so the weight and airflow will be equivalent to what came stock on the car.

OK Next question (this may be a dumb question)... Is there anything wrong with buying rotors, whether they be stoptech or brembo, and having them on hand? when I do the brakes, I can use them if I need them, etc. In other words, is it bad to have the rotors sit on a shelf for a while opposed to using them right away? Or would I be better of using them right away when i order them.

thanks again everyone.

Most of the iron atoms in the universe were made 11+ billions of years ago inside exploding GIANT stars before galaxies were fully formed, so shelf life is immaterial. How you store them FLAT and not stacked matters.

Obviously dry and in plastic oem bag is good to defer rust [most are usually wax/oil coated to protect finish].

I've seen cheaper brembo rotors around...

Thanks all for the information. I just need to determine if my rotors need replacing now!

Yeah, storing them is fine. These come with oil on them, so just be sure to leave them in the bag/box if you don't use them.

I think you should look elsewhere. You can get a set Stoptech Aerorotors for not much more than that.

Remember dealer MSRP is ~~ double dealer cost from Nissan for many parts.

The parts department and used cars are the only profitable component in a dealership........the others breakeven to sell parts.

Exactly. You never see a car dealership without a service area and used car lot. That's why it doesn't matter that many don't have body shops anymore.
