Tein EDFC motors
Tein EDFC motors
I'm installing my Tein CS suspension with EDFC. The adjusting motors have two different part numbers. Does anyone know which numbers go where? Both motors will fit on the threads of the rear shocks and they look identical.
I think they are all the same...i never looked at them when i installed them. They all looked exactly alike so i just tightend them down. The only thing you need to worry about are the wires that run from the EDFC unit to the actual motors. Just make sure you run the wires (should be marked LR RR RF LF) correctly and you will be fine, but the motors to my knowledge can go on any of the coilovers.
I have the same exact set up as you. You will love it when its all said and done! The EDFC is really a awesome little toy.

Thanks for the response. They look so similar, I thought that might be the case. The only difference might be the power of the motor, but how much force difference can there be? I just didn't want to put the wrong ones on the rear and have to undo it in the future.
hey guys,
i was wondering how to access the rear suspension adjustment **** for the strut? do i access it from the trunk or from the rear seats? this is for a 2003 coupe.
i bought the car used with the suspension already installed but i'm having trouble finding where the adjustment **** is. plus, i need to know to install the EDFC motors later on. i really hope i don't have to take the strut off to adjust the **** then put it back on.
