Scott [Relentless Strut Bar]

Well I've had this thing since 2006 and havnt installed it yet =PPPP

Anyways I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO INSTALL THIS THING =(

Well I can get everything to fit but do i have to relocate the power steering reservoir?? the bracket is in the way also when I install it I do not have enough room to put the bar on o.O

Anyone have a detailed pix?

I need to know where the 3rd arm goes. (the 3 piece bar is screwed on at 6 points.. 3 on each side.. 4 of these 6 goes on the nuts for the strut.. the other 2 are in question for me)

help

- Eric

I am assuming this is the same as the VRT bar I have. The 5th & 6th mount point requires some work. You have to remove the wheels, drop the springs and remove a screws at the top. Then you replace with the new longer screws and re-install the springs. The screw is long enough to stick out past the square nut (accessible from the engine bay). The 5th & 6th point slide over the screw and you install the 2 new nuts that came with the kit. Points 1-4 use the stock nuts. (you can do 1 side at a time).

I also had a problem with the bracket mount on the passenger side geting in the way of the power steering bracket, lucky I had a friend who was good at fabricating, he made a small extension which he then bent and grinded to fit perfectly, you can see it better in these two pics

hope this helps give you guys ideas to get around the issue

I'm working on modifying the bracket so the steering resevoir is just going to be held on with two bolts and moved..
