recommend me some rotors!
so after doing my first brake job (rears), i realized i should get started on looking for new rear rotors and rotors/pads for the fronts before it goes bad to the point that im scared to brake. lol
im interested in keeping the brembo pads or going with project mu pads since they are affordable, perform, and have good reviews on em.
the thing is.. im lookin for suggestions on rotors. i see powerslot and brembo have rotors out there in a do-able price range. everything else like stoptech, etc are brake upgrades and cost too damn much ($1000+). what do you recommend?

check these out
www.ocautosports.com check these rotors out... cheap and very effective, also no rusting that others are complaining about with other more expensive brands.. a few members on here forwarded me to them and i'm more than happy.. also i have used the axxis deluxe pads and they suck with initial bite and noise. I'm using hawk hps now and they are pretty good. Next i'll go with nismo or back to brembo for the oem bite. Good luck

prices are pretty good
depends on if you have brembo or not... if not they have auctions on ebay with f&r pads and rotor for dirt cheap.. i have brembo and bought cross drilled/slotted front and rears for a little over 300...... I thought it was a pretty good price, compared to the other options

Non-Brembo, I got pads and rotors all around for dirtcheap. I got the rotors, plated, and only slotted. The pads were posiquiet, which are great and required no break in. (per instructions on box) So far I am very happy w/ the results. (You can do custom requests, such as slotted and drilled in gold, drilled only in black, etc.) Just do a search on ebay if you want to know the exact pricing, they are ocautosports or ocautosports.com. Or just search "slotted g35 rotor" on ebay.

Jason

According to post #16’s link in this thread: https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...=196097&page=2
they are $217 (add $30 for gold or black zinc plating)... I will be calling them soon~!
Has anyone used their SS brake lines?
Jason, how do you link the zinc plating? Does it hold up? I’m thinking of getting black – did you get gold or black?
Also, is anyone using the Kevlar pads? Comments on them please…

Yeah, you got me. It was 217 for rotors AND pads. Excellent deal. I've only had the setup on for a couple of weeks, but I see nothing wrong as far as the plating. I just got the regular coating, think it is clear.(my rotors are silver) Plus there is a one year warranty on the rotors. Several other people from here have also used them and are very happy.
