Springs no matter how they are in there and alignment changes from raising or lowering a couple inches (unless it was like 10 deg toed out) is NOT going to make the car sway back and forth. The other day I was replacing bushings on my car and forgot to tighten either the toe or camber bolt on one side (I think it was the toe), this caused exactly what you are describing, my bet is that something is loose under there.

i had the swaying back and forth thing going on in the rain a month ago. totally scared the crap out of me. Everything is tight under the car but my toe was off. I also have tires on the rear that need to be replaced so im sure that didnt help. I got the car aligned and that seems to of helped out. THe alignment shop told me that the spc toe bolt in the rear is has more room to go but the part you drill out wasnt drilled out enough and therefore i cant get my toe exactly where it needs to be. I will be getting this corrected in the coming weeks and also buying some new tires. I will post an update on my results. for now i will just keep running my winter tires. if anyone has any other input i would be more than happy to hear it.

Alright guys. I already installed my BC Coilovers on my car. But I have extra parts... ... It is not the piece that is a replacement for the spring cup. But was I suppose to put these somewhere during the install?? Are they spacers to raise it?

I want to check before I get an alignment incase they need installed. Thanks for your help.

Yes they are spacers and it is suppose to go between the spring and the rear adjuster in case you wanted your car higher than what the adjuster would give you

Got the toe bolt drilled out and another alignment done. Swaying problem seems to be corrected.
