Whats the ideal spring rate for the BC BR coilovers?
I cant decide which rate to get..

i think they only come 12 front and 8 back. at least mines are

10k -front and 8k back standard. At least when i got them

I have these on my car. Handles nicely but there's a rattle in the rear that's pretty annoying.

^could be the swaybar endlinks. Search on the endlink issues that people have had. That might be the problem and not the coilovers.

I only have 19k on my car, the rear isn't slammed by any means, and have had these coilovers on for maybe 500 miles. You think the endlinks could be going bad already?

In any case, I'll get them checked out my next oil change. Thanks for the suggestion.

yeah man, me too. Although I fabricated and installed some 1/8"thick rubber gaskets on the top mount. Great improvement in getting rid of the rattles and clunks, but I still do hear a real faint and a slight rattle on bumps going 15mph or less. Definitely less annoying though, not like the first couple of days after installing the coils where it felt like something was going to give.

That's awesome you made something to fix the issue, it is rather annoying. On my car it doesn't sound like it's going to give, but it's just a very light sounding rattle...with the radio on you pretty much can't hear it.

Oh well, the car handles much better than stock so I can live with a little noise.

03-04 G endlinks were crap. They revised the newer G35s but they can still make noise. Good luck

i just installed this yesterday and if you dont get them seated properly in the rear you cant tighten them all the way. once installed we left for a test drive and i heard a rattle on every bump. we went back in jacked up the drive side rear and we could see some play. adjusted and seated the rear shock, retightened and the rattle was gone.

my only criticism of these so far is that you can not go higher than a one finger gap in the rear. i have to occasionally drive in the snow so i wanted a two finger gap, maybe finger and a half, but it is impossible on the rear of my G35X sedan.

ride quality and handling are amazing. i dropped the car almost three inches and it has a firm but comfortable ride. no regrets at all on the purchase. if you go low expect to buy camber kits. i think i am going to go the SPC route.

BC had revised plates with rubber for the rear shocks to counter the rattle. I haven't had a chance to put mine on since becoming a father last year. I still have rattle.

this may sound like a dumb question, but with these coils would you need a front camber kit if im only going to drop it like an inch all around?
