Where Could I get my Rotors Painted

Where in SoCal can I get my rotors painted? I really don't want to do this myself. But I would like to get rid of the rust on my R1 Concept rotors?

Any members out there willing to do this either?

You can paint your rotors center hats, but that is it.

Your correct nate... You can paint the center hubs but not the actual surface where the brakes will be rubbing!!!

You can certainly paint the rotors. It's easy to do yourself. Clean them first and use a light enough coat to cover the bare metal but don't put too much paint on them. Use high temp paint from the auto parts store. The pads will immediately remove the paint where they contact the rotor. That way, the entire rotor is protected except for the pad contact area. Just make sure the paint is dry before installing the rotors.

psh ..... light coat of paint on the rotors wont hurt at all. the pads will just wear the paint off after one or two brake applications, leaving the hat and the lip all pretty.

i've done it to numerous drilled rotors. do it with a heavy primer and it does a fantastic job of preventing rust from escaping out of the holes.

just don't go nuts and give the thing five coats. all you want it to do it to prevent rust. and take 'er easy for those first couple stops.
