Why does my car feel so sloppy compared to other cars??

I test drove an Acura TL 2006 today. That car felt so solid and stable. It was stock BTW.

My dads 08 G35x, solid as a rock.

My car, lowered on Z springs up front, coupe springs in the back with 04 sedan sport struts, feels like a damn boat. Almost like when taking a turn all the weight goes to the front outside wheel.

Would this mean the springs are bad or the struts? i want it to feel solid like our 08 or the Acura i drove today. Its just not... solid feeling.

What would cause this?

Could be a blown strut. Or maybe you just need stiffer struts.

I would definitely get some sway bars, they will help with the body roll. How many miles did the 04 sport struts have on them when you installed them? Could be bad strut(s). Also are you running the unrevised or revised rear springs? You should be running unrevised so the sport shocks are matched to the correct spring rate.

I have the same spring setup as you, only I am rolling on the sport 18s with 235/45R/18 potenzas, my stock 05 sport struts/shocks and Stillen sway bars. I did the springs mostly for better looks/less wheel gap but the car handles and takes corners alot better. Body roll is significantly less too.

sounds almost like you just aren't used to a neutral/oversteering biased car. Every TL I've ever driven understeers like a mother

Not sure why you would think your car would be handling much better. Z/coupe springs have the same spring rates as the sedan sport. Your shocks are nothing special either.

You're just lowered about 1" / 0.5"

Like Hai said, I don't think you know a well handling car.
