No spring compressor required for the install, but air tools would make the job a lot easier.

With stock wheels and tires you wont need to roll your fenders. If you add spacers you might need to roll them depending on how large of a spacer you add.

 

Vin.. When I 1st dropped on the pirate coilovers I did have the sport 17's with 235/50 tires.

Those 17's stayed on for about 3+ months.
With the 17's I was using 20mm spacers on the fronts. 25mm spacers on the rears. Very flush because that is the objective of the suspension mod. The rears were the problem and rubbed on every bump and change of elevation.

The spacers made the wheel set up look correct and I rolled my rear fender flanges.

The wheel set-up was changed in June to 19's.

 

What do you think of 20 mm in the rear instead od 25? Not as flush I know

 

I feel like a kid I'm mad excited for the coils to get here 11 days is taking forever lol

 

My right side makes that odd noise. So I ended up buying some gasket material and cut out a new gasket to place on top of the pillow mount, between the car body and the mount. The squeak is still there. Next step is to swap the rear shocks from right to left to see if it is related to the shock and nothing else. If that fails, try for OEM set up instead of true form.

 

^I had mine in true form and oem..no change in sound...fronts quiet since day 1..rears clankity clank on every bump..

 

Still running like champs tho! I love them..stance is great..comfort is great..corners like a dream..arggggggg I be in love

 

Vin...20mm on rear 17" sport wheel will not rub the fender flange if dropped 2 1/2" for 03 sedan.
Noise trouble @ rear pillow mount clarification. Not exactly a gasket but a wear surface shim; The Nissan gasket is hard 1/32" thick plastic coated or blended material. Tan color

 

Rear suspension noise folks need to verify the length of L & R shock bodies are adjusted to equal lengths.
If not equal in length than dynamic loads such as bumps will be heavier/ harder hitting on one side.

 

Where are you guys buying these coilovers from? I cant find them on eBay. Is there a different name now or something?
