I put 10mm of preload on my front coils, but when i tried to do it to the back, i ran out of threads on the strut to have 10mm of preload. So do i just tighten it to the top and call it good? after i started cranking i only got about 4mm of preload at most. the spring was tight not gonna move but idk what else to do?

You honestly dont need to put that much preload unless you are trying to track your car.

In the BC video, that should be a good amount already or a little more to keep the springs from moving.

For rear I think that should be fine. Its not going to move anywhere anyways since it doesnt turn like the front.

wait til they settle. i noticed a huge difference in stiffness after the coils settled. They go pretty low too after settling. I had to raise my car up a bit because I couldn't turn

^you can go back one page and read my opinion...there's nothing sporty about these coils at all, don't buy them expecting them to stiffen up anything

did that when i first got the coils. Car was bouncy as hell, even at full stiff. I'd recommend no preload at all.
