Energy suspension compression rod bushings

Anyone running these? I just ordered some from z1 motorsports and was wondering what others think of them.

I bought used spare arms for $136 shipped, both sides from ebay. The bushings were about $75 shipped. I will have them pressed in when they arrive next week. I am sure they will be alot better than the current ones that have 120k miles on them. I am sure they have been torn for awhile and it is annoying the way the car feels. I will put an update up after they are installed.

I installed the Energy Suspension CR bushings a few weeks ago. So far I am happy with them. They got rid of my squeeks and creaks and made my car feel much more solid at high speeds.

Also, you don't need a press to get them in (just need one to get the old bushings out). I put mine in the freezer for like an hour and was able to press them in by hand most of the way. Then I used a large C-clamp to get them in the rest of the way.

Whiteline is going to be making the bushings soon, they are sending me a prototype set to try out.

Looks like I'm gonna have to bug my mechanic buddy to use his press for many of my upcoming vehicle rehab work... compression rod bushings, wheel bearings, clutch throwout bearing, etc... I'm hoping it can go 250K+ miles... do they make sway bar bushings for stillen sway bar?

Cnsidering the stock ones work for Stillne I would assume the Energy ones work. If you are doing cr and sway bar you might just buy the whole front end kit.

ES front kit soon...

I am going to be putting the ES front kit on, although I can't "see" anything wrong with each of the bushings, but the bad handling and sounds are definitely there. (Massive creaking turning into uneven lots, etc.)

I will post anything of interest that hasn't come up before in the CR threads. FYI to everyone: ROCKAUTO has the upper and lower arms for relatively cheap ($55-$100 each. )

You can get the bushings and the arm and install them in one shot. Might be worth some people's time (time>>>$$$), but I will reuse the old ones. Cheers!

I think nissan needs more stout lower strut mount bushings since they're starting sag... might as well go urethane, why not? the strut is absorbing the impact anyway so harshness shouldn't be an issue.

I love my ES Compression Rod bushings! I loved them so much that I ordered 25 cars worth of extra sets of them! PM me if you'd like to purchase a set.
