Need to replace 350z suspension

I've been running a full 350z for a couple years now. I got it used & think its time to replace the fronts. Rears are fine. The ride isnt as smooth as before. I bottomed out on a big speed bump, which made me think it was time to replace the struts. Should I replace the struts only? Springs too? Any suggestions? Brands?

No need to replace the springs, just buy some good shocks/struts and you should be good to go. Check your compression rod bushing while you're there.

Thanks for your help! Do you know which strut/shock would be a good replacement for a 350z? I want a smoother ride now (GF complaining lol).

the most comon replacement would be the tokico blue which cost ~$300/set online

it sounds like you may be best served by getting the tokico D-Specs which are adjustable (so you can mane them softer if needed), but they cost twice as much

Thanks for the suggestion! I was looking at those online. I found the front set for $160 shipped.

+1 what I would do if I were in your shoes. The Tokico blues are great, but (pertaining to the g) they are kinda harsh as I found. If they were adustable (D-Spec) I would soften them a little.

So are you saying the Tokico blues would be harsher/stiffer than a 350z (revised springs) or G35 stock suspension?

I had the non-sport suspension so to me they seemed harsher/firmer. I have heard of others comparing the HP's to the sport suspension (as far as firmness and ride quality).

Cool thanks! I went from a non sport to a 350z w/revised springs. It was firmer in a good way. If the tokicos r the same as when the 350z sups was new I'll be happy!
