Poll on Front Camber Kits

I've been a part of this community for about 9 years, 1 year with this account and 9 years with my personal account. I am getting annoyed of having to replace my tires every 2-3 months because of camber wear. Even though Flaken takes care of us, its just a hassle, now to get to the point. I want to know what you guys are rolling with and if you would recommend it. After using the "Search" option, as I am sure someone will want to mention in this thread, I noticed the main three front camber kits are SPL, SPC and Ichiba. Would love to have the SPL's but damn $700?? Don't hear much about Stillen or Eibach. What's all this ruckus about the arms breaking off if you bottom out? From what I've heard SPC fixed that problem, is there still an issue with other kits? Either way, would love to here some feedback.

Note: I have an 04 G35 Coupe with 20" DPE Variant R07s and an HKS LS+ Coilover set up.

From my research SPL is the best, and not all kits will adjust for + camber. I've got SPC which for the most part have worked fine, my front is slightly out of spec since the shims and my BBK don't work well together.

Ya I've heard great things about SPL, but $700 for a front upper camber kit is just not in my budget as of now. I bought tires literally two months ago and they are completely done in the front. Are the revised SPC kits recommended? I've heard a lot of mix reviews.

The common issue I've seen people have the most is with the dash lighting up after everything is installed, due to people not installing the spacers on the wheel sensors when using the shims. And for those that are slammed the top of the A-arm will hit the fender/liner, but I'm not low enough to have that problem. Thats all I'm aware of

If I ever get front camber arms (I don't need them my natural camber is perfect for my setup) I'll get SPLs.

SPCs are pretty good, but if you are really low they will make knocking noises.

Whatever you do please stay away from any and all Ichiba suspension parts:

How slammed is slammed? Im not a part of the "Stance" movement, but I do like a clean drop, meaning no gap in between my tire and fender.

I really don't know crap about tire wear or camber wear, but I thought the simple solution was getting a camber kit?

Well I dropped my car less then 3 weeks ago, but haven't had a chance to get the alignment, don't toe bolts go on the rear arms? My front tires are the ones that went out. Then again I haven't gotten an alignment in a long time.

no the toe bolts go in the spring bucket connecting it to the frame. and you should get an alignment a week or so after you lower your car after everything settles. your toe is prolly off big time.

okay well my new tires are on order from Falken so once they get in I'll just shoot all that out at the same time.. i'll just have to keep an eye on my tires to see how they wear.

My fenders are about flush with the top of the tires too so you should be good. I would get an alignment first and see what the specs are before buying anything.

When I was dropped on only Tien S-techs, I had an alignment done immediately afterwards and my front tires didn't last long so.... Some will say you don't need a camber kit and others will say different. From my experience I would recommend them.
