How to Tell if 350z Springs are Revised?
How to Tell if 350z Springs are Revised?
I'm buying some 350z springs to drop my 2006 6MT coupe 1/2". They are off of an 2005 350z so I believe these are revised springs... When I pick them up is there anyway for me to confirm that they are revised springs?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Thanks guys!
The rears the guy brough had a white dot... I looked it up and the white dot looks like it's from unrevised springs... Thanks for saving me from wasting a few dollars!

I've got a set of fronts with a pink dot and an orange dot. They were listed as revised as well.
Edit: Also, stock G rears have the same paint markings as revised 350z springs.

Page 10 shows color markings. It seems the fronts were not revised?
Still looking for what white/greens means on Coupes.
Also, I have 2 red/1blue dot springs on the rear now (supposedly revised 2007-2008) but they're softer than stock Coupe, tho they SHOULD be the same. I think they're unrevised due to the ride.

In speaking with Leonard at Swift Springs, he too feels that the Z front springs were revised as well, as he recalls they were softer in the earlier models.
He also stated that the 350GT had softer springs than the G Coupe's Sport springs.

Revised? How so?
All data says that Z's and Coupes only had 1 spring. 314 lbs./in. spring rate.
What was revised about it?
Oem linear springs
G35 coupes with oem 17’s & 18’s
G35 sedan’s with sport suspension
350Z’s 2003/2004 (unrevised)
Front:314 Rear:342
Oem linear springs
G35 sedan's with non sport
Front: 283 Rear: 308
Oem linear springs
G35 coupes 2005/2006 with oem 19’s only
350Z 2004.5 to 2008 (revised suspension)
Front:314 Rear:427
Why revise it if nothing changes?
