Brakes and suspension replacement

Hello everyone!

my 2006 g35x just hit 83k miles on oil changes alone!

but now time has come to do some serious replacement.

My rotors must be warped or bent, car shakes when i brake on the highway.

My suspension must also be shot, car is very rough on the roads of ny. i drive this daily in to the inner city in NY, so the roads are very ROUGH full of potholes.

Now this is my daily driver, so i'm not looking to get any performance parts.

The cheaper, the better.

What would you guys recommend as far as brands? oem? by the way oem is soooo expensive!

i would like my car to be as confortable as possible, since i have to give rides to my COO and VPs every now and then.

what parts would i need to buy?

Sorry i'm pretty much in the dark when it comes to mechanical stuff.

any help is appreciated!

You get what you pay for when it comes to parts, with that said, I've found the OeM "rotors" to warp too easily. I've done brakes 3 times on my 06x, and the best setup so far has been OEM pads and Centric brand Rotors. Low dust, no noise, and fairly cheap. I got the pads on eBay and the rotors from a vendor here.

If you go to autozine and get the economy brakes/pads...that's what you'll get. Noisy, dusty brakes.

For suspension, you can get rear shocks from rockauto.com. I beleive they sell KYB. Up front is different story. As far as I know only struts so far for the awd is oem. Not sure if there is an aftermarket option.

i've tried kyb-gr2 on my maxima when i was into modding.

they were unconfortable as hell, i swapped out for coilovers after that. Coilovers at soft settings were confortable, but very expensive.

As for oem struts, any place to get them at a fair price?

I run this setup as well. Cannot go wrong with either brand and both are much more affordable than OEM.

so this is what i've ordered:

front brakes: centric high carbon rotors
Rear brakes: centric premium rotors
Front and back pads: centric posi-quiet

Front suspension: kyb-gr2
Rear suspension: kyb-gr2

Would i need anything else to install these items?
