Could I use a table vise to remove control arm bushings?
I have a G35 Coupe with worn out front lower control arm bushings. Nissan refers it as the transverse link. I purchased some performence white line bushings. Would I be able to remove/replace the old ones with a giant clamp and vise table if i don't have access to a press??
Similar concept is to rent a bushing tool from AutoZone (usually free: pay deposit, get refund when tool is returned). Sometimes they don't have the correct size though, so might need to use a socket.
Thats what I meant by giant clamp sorry lol. Have you used this technique before?
Maybe, there's also some tool that's used for ball joints that looks like a claw.
Egawd the local machine shop wants 20$ per bushing and 25$ per ball joint. That how much they cost for OEM

You can buy just the compression rod bushings for ~$25 ea from dealer. Not sure if you can get lower arm bushings stand alone though. Plenty of aftermarket bushings to choose from however.
