Just had my driver side rear caliper freeze. Ordered rotors and pads on Amazon, same ones I previously swapped out (in 2017). Ended up getting calipers from local Nissan dealer for reasons (I now wish I hadn't but here I am overpaid), "aftermarket" calipers, which are these:
Installed driver side fine, bled brake line, all good.
Got passenger bracket on, pads in, ready to close it...caliper will not go over pads. Upon further inspection, passenger caliper is almost 1/2 inch tighter than driver side and the OEM I'm replacing?? Did I (dealer) just get the wrong part or am I missing something? The originals were both the same size (and same size as the driver's new one).
Thanks for the input!
Original, 2" opening New, a little over 1.5" space?? Comparing the two
