Does anyone know what the following dots are? (I have a 2006 X)

Front has one red/pink dot and one yellow dot.

Rear has one red/pink dot and two yellow dots on a different 'row' of the spring.

Is that 283/355 rates? I have seen other people mention different dots on the X and so I am wondering if they used different springs for different years.

Hey guys, I have a 04 sedan with sport suspension. I was wondering if the TEIN S tech springs are compatible with the sport suspension. Also, I am still running the 17" sport wheels, would the drop from said springs be too drastic for this setup? Thanks in advance.

clean drop!!!1

Your G looks real clean with that drop. I was thinking about putting in 350z springs for my sedan, I heard it gives an inch drop. Is this true? So you have the H techs for a 350z instead for a g? Whats the difference? Please hit me back up im new to the whole nissan thing.

Asked and answered in this thread: the 350Z/coupe/sedan sports suspension uses higher damping rate struts. You will more bounce if you don't replace the struts, which is not a good thing.

Ugh 2 times through and I am just as confused as when I started.

Current - 06 G35x

Looking to drop around an inch all around or even up the look, its a daily driver so I do not want something too aggressive, and want close to stock ride, a bit stiffer is fine.

What setup would be my best bet? Springs and Struts or just Springs?

I'm in the same boat you are. Got an 06 X as well. I've been reading through this thread and dozens of others on lowering/suspension upgrades and am still confused and unsure on what exactly to get. Doesn't help that Xs are rare here, comparatively. Some posts I see say when comparing lowering values, Xs are an additional 0.25-0.5" lower than what people will list for regular sedans, sport or not. I don't think I can do a 2" drop with 18"s here, just because of the weather and the ****ty roads. Like you, I just want a 1", even drop all around, for better handling and looks, but nothing track crazy (super stiff and uncomfortable). I just need to know what to get and where to buy it.

I should stick to older cars, this **** is insanely confusing! Wiring the dash on my dad's 40 Chevy Business Coupe is/was looking easier than trying to find out stuff on lowering the G!

I am going with a set of unrevised z springs on my stock x shocks/struts I am told it will drop around an inch around, only concern is that smaller wheel well in the rear makes it look lower so some people put coupe rear springs there to drop it less.

Unrevised springs are 2 red dots 1 purple dot, and are from 04 and previous.

Hope it helps, its amazing how much info was lacking for the X
