Suspension Click Noise
I just got my car back from the dealership. There was a clicking noise on my back right suspension. I got a call back from the service manager. He said that For some reason there is a clicking noise that happens on alot of G35's in between 10,000-15,000 miles. He said it is of no concern but they cannt replace the suspension because it could just make clicking noise in another 10,000 miles. They said Infiniti is investigating this and will get back once they have a solution. NO TSB HAS BEEN PUT OUT ON THIS, but the manager said there will be soon. Just giving you guys a heads up.

my car has been doing this recently (about 20,000 miles). to me it sounds like the main axle nuts have worked a little loose and need retorqued. i haven't taken my car in to be checked yet, but that's what I'm going to ask them to do. i've already retorqued the wheel nuts, but that didn't help.

clicking sound
I had my front brakes redone by the dealer. When I got my car back, it had this clicking sound coming from the left front wheel area.
The dealer couldn't determine the source, so I'm living with it, but it is a real distraction.
Please keep this forum posted if you hear of a solution.

I just had this done last week. The cv joints in the read axles are the culprits. Think of the sounds a front drive car makes when the cv joints go out. You notice it mostly in first and second gear (manual anyway) when accelerating and decelerating. When in doubt, pull into a parking garage and put down the windows and listen. Doesn't take hard acceleration. It was fixed under warranty and does require the dealership to order parts.
