Cedar Hedge

Cedar Hedge
When I purchased my house 5 years ago, I planted about a 100ft long cedar hedge. The hedge is about 4ft tall now and is very healthy. My question is does anyone know any type of fertilizer or plant food that will make a cedar hedge grow quicker? I used bone meal when I first planted the hedge but I am told that would be useless to apply again now. I was thinking about giving them a dose of Miracle Grow but now sure if that would help at all. I've searched the internet but couldn't really find any concrete information.

I believe you can use any fertilizer for an evergreen, but don't use too much as the roots are not deep rooted.
But when I look on the Miracle Grow website, I see this: http://www.miraclegro.ca/productdeta...ult.aspx?id=25

Shane I have a cedar hedge going about 90 feet one way by 100 the other way. I planted it many years ago. I use to put RX30 on it and as others said, I would leave the hose trickling along it for hours. I keep it at 10-12 feet in height now. I don't do anything to it now but prune it once in a while.

I know what you mean abot cedars though, people always ask the same question since the skeeters usually like to hang around them, but never a problem here.
