hi guys while waiting for tire change i asked the infiniti yorkville infiniti for rear spoiler for g35 coupe.( i have 5at, i just love the look of the spoiler )

the price they told me was $750 +350 for labor = $1100

then i called agincourt they told me $923 (includes the paint)

called oakville $800 included paint+$324 labor

seems like it costs min 1k for this part. I remembered Steve at Simone performance telling me to get the original from dealer, as he said buying 2nd hand would cause me trouble when installing as it does not come with the necessary stuff to drill.

Any cheaper options, (order from states , other options.) i dont wanna go other than original but if u suggest an identical one like original that would be just awesome.

and what do u think about buying from a owner who just took it out? is it really hard to install it?

Musti, you can also check spoilerdepot.com, I know a few guys that have bought their replica OEM spoilers and were very happy with them. You can get them pre-painted.

thx Wayne i did a quick calculation , it comes up to $262 dollar canadian with shipment.i searched and read the reviews on spoilerdepot.com i have a mixed feeling.
-one didnt get the spoiler at all
-one had kind of painting problems after a while.
-couple of people had good experiences.

i wish there was slight difference in price but oem in canada and us is still 2-3 times the oem price

another option might be original from an owner ?

Also a good idea, I have dealt with Rick and he shipped my front spoiler up to my place with no problems. Great guy to deal with.

 

your best bet would be to look for a member that would like to go spoiler-less. if you have a ivory pearl id be interested.......

honestly, put a trade thread for your trunk, i bet you there's some people interested in it.....honestly many people straight trade (with no cash on top) for trunks that are spoilerless..

so instead of spending 1g just hang back and wait for a few weeks to see if anyone is interested...
