hi guys,

i have a BB storm 9530 that is locked to bell. i want to unlock it so it easier to sell to the public. how do i go about doing this, bell wants to charge me big money to do it...

also if any one is interested in buying it let me know i have pics and whats not. the phone is in great shape.

If its not GSM and does not use chip i dont think you can unlock it but i can be wrong. Usually cell phone repair stores will do it.

 

it does have a gsm card and sim card. i know the phone is unlockable but i dont wanna pay $75 by bell. we dont have cell phone repair places up in the boonies lol...

 

it might actually be worth the $25-75 to get someone else to do it

Usually its as easy as telling your carrier you want to use it in another country.

There are usually lots of people, on kijiji , that will do it.
Did you try selling it as is? I know what you are saying about being easier to sell but there are plenty of people that don't really care if it's unlocked and are happy to use Bell.
