Basement Progress.......

Its been a while since I've been on here mainly because of the basement reno. I only took a couple of pics when the studs were up but most of my pics are when the drywall is up, the walls primed and the california ceiling done. On Sat the pot lights go in and all the switches and plugs are installed then the doors and trim come next week........Man I can't wait until this is done I already bought my 50" Plasma and HD box......ya I know its early but boxing week was a good time to buy.

Here are some pics, there is a main room were my furniture, ent. unit and custom wet bar will be, the smaller room with the half covered window is my office/studio, and the other room with the pile of stuff covered is the kids play room.

I'm doing my basement this weekend.

Question, did you put insulation on the ceiling for your basement?
Do you have too?

Ummmm, yup I was
It has been so busy here, I haven't had time to do the pics but it was an awesome couple of weeks. Darn, we take off in another 11 days for a month in Mexico. Winter is really going fast.

sorry for the post HJ Roy.

The jack is completely my fault.

Are you installing a surround outfit, Roy? I did the wiring for my rear speakers before the ceiling went up, that was about my only small foresight.

Looks good, lots of pot lights I love pot lights. It gives you real satisfaction doing your own basment I did ours in our last house it actually came out very well for someone of my patience(except for the odd wavey wall) and I hated every minute of it.

Edit I am not sure how I got the red face up in the corner but he is not supposed to be there!?!?
