Replacement?
I had expected to keep the G for as long as it ran reasonably. Maybe another 5 - 6 years. At this time I don't think I can swing getting a G within for the $ the ins. co. will give me. I have to ask if I really want an 04/05 with over 150km put on by someone else. Thinking of a sedan, as they are usually a little cheaper. Oh well, It'll be about two months before I'm in the drivers seat again in any car.

When I replied and asked if it was a typo, I was told it has been in a garage for the last 6 years.
Thoughts?

LOL, you seem skeptical Ian. You don't think someone would lie about a used car do you?
At the last meet a member was there with an 04 with 17000km which he just bought for $17 grand. Car looked great. Sometimes ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

its been in the garage last 6 years?? ... whats the point of having it parked around and depreciating if your not going to drive it if its just parked might as well have sold it after first 6months or a year of not driving it....
2000km is ridiculously lowwww ... But if that seriously is @ only 2k Damn... I guess its a great buy and definitely a keeper.
just get everything checked out regardless.

Oh Yeah, I did look at some of my older investments Ian and I do have the deed to a bridge already. You may have heard of it. It's on the River Kwai, build by a British consortium.

I don't know which you will ultimately choose Sam, coupe or sedan, but one thing I know is that you will still be happy either way. As you know the new sedans are are just as nice and quick as the coupes. I know your kids are all grown up but hey, with the sedan you can put two good friends in the back seats and scare the bejesus out of them
If you need a hand salvaging parts off your OB GC (RIP) let me know. I have a few tools and a hydraulic jack I can assist you with.
Get well soon..both of you.

Yes I love the coupe, but I kinda like the option of 4 adults. Specially when I consider taking my parents with me. Now we use their Camry. Don't know what it'll be yet. Got lots of time to make a decision and find what we decide on. Yes, I'll take input from Nan. BTW she likes the look of the Coupe, Black, Carib Blue, and the Red.
Thanks for the offer Paul, I'll keep you in mind after I speak with the adjuster.
