Z6 Question

For those of you that you use Z6, how often do you apply it to your car? Is it everytime after you wash your car?

Also, where can Wheel Wax be purchased?

LOL....
Hey Shane, you getting addicted to it yet?

FWIW.....
I don't use it after washes unless I want that extra shine.
(at least once a month)
I will sometimes use it between washes as well;
eg. for our last meet, the car had been washed 2 days b4,
so I just used the Z6 to clean & shine.

I have thought about wheel wax as well.....
Here is the Wheel Wax Canadian reseller
I've decided to stay with Zaino on my wheels.
I used it last year & it worked great.
Most wheels have a clearcoat, so they can be treated the same as the car body.
Also Zaino lasts a long time.

Addicted....yeah you could say that Ian!! I've been applying Z6 after every wash......I can't get enough of it. My wife thinks I am weird because I started sleeping with it by my pillow. Does that mean I have a Zaino problem??

Are you using Z2 on your wheels Ian? Does it repel all of the brake dust?

I have a couple of coats of Z2 & also use Z6 when I do the car.
I wouldn't say it repels, but it doesn't build up as much
& is very easy to clean when you wash the car.

I was going to try the WW, but it seems a little pricey, especially after shipping.

Also I'm in the process of changing to ceramic pads & new slotted Xdrilled rotors. Hoping that will reduce some of the dust as well....

Hi everyone, my name is Peter and I have a Zaino addiction.

I have been washing my car once or twice a week since new (April 1) and have been using Z6 after every wash. I have used Z2 twice but Z6 maybe 6-8 times. Do I have a problem, I don't think so?

Like I tell the Mrs. when she rolls her eyes that I am washing again, 'it's not how dirty the car is; it's how clean it is that matters'.

LOL, yeh you guys are faily addicted.
Shane and Peter, tell the wives that when the addiction gets real bad, you'll start getting up in the middle of the night and spending time in the garage spraying and buffing, primping and preening, etc etc.
Then from the garage you go to the 'puter room and sharing whatever on 'Driver.

WARNING: it's only a short distance from the 'puter room to the dog house.

Oh yea, I get my 'wheel wax' at the same place I get my 'body wax' .

hahaha, Z5 or Z2. yes Shane it helps a lot with the dust issue.

Like Ian, I use Z-6 to bring back the shine instead of washing again (provided it's not too dirty).
Be careful with the black tho. You'll need to get most of the dirt off first so as not to scratch.

Peter, Shane and Ian, you all sound like you have a very understanding wives. You're lucky. They're not all like that.

Happy waxing.

C.

z6

No matter what color vehicle you have, I wouldn't apply any sort of wax or any Zaino for that matter without having the car washed first.

You're just asking for scratches, if you don't. Even if your wash is a few days old, there always dust particles that is going to collect on the surface. The last thing you need is dust or grit mixed in with your wax or Z6 spray and then grinding it into your paint with a buffing cloth.

Darn, I have purchased most of the Zaino products now, and haven't had a chance to apply them.
My wife just hasn't had the time .

I know what your saying, but Z6 was designed for this...

"Z-6™ Ultra Clean contains seven optical clarifiers and our unique wet gloss enhancers to increase your car's wet-looking, mile-deep Show Car Polish shine. We highly recommend it for fast, safe removal of water spots, finger prints and light soil from painted surfaces, without scratching."
