It seems every day brings a new high prices. Yikes...
I keep telling myself, "it's only temporary", "this will pass quickly".
Maybe it's wishful thinking.

We just don't know how temporary or which way it goes after "the temporary".

I just paid 139.4 in Sherbrooke PQ (Sat AM)
On the way back to TO I noticed prices were down a bit compared to Friday.
I'm sure this is tied into long weekend gouging
& we'll see different #s next week

Price drops are always good unless you're selling!
Hopefully we'll all see a bit of relief as the year goes on. I hope you guys don't heat your homes with oil but expect it's natural gas you're using.
We have electric(heat pump) which has been great the past number of years with higher oil prices.

I just heard a rumor (which I hope is not true), that gas prices in Halifax jumped to $1.80/litre today. Deane....say it isn't so!

Well, unfortunately the rumor is not a rumor. I found out the price in Halifax jumped to $1.79.9/litre today. Geez, and at the start of this thread I was b!tching about $1.13/litre.

I haven't seen that here. In fact it was all over the radio that wasn't true as there seemed to be some mass panic and rumours of +2.00/litre. I drove by stations all over this morning with big lineups but did not see any change in prices. I filled up my van this afternoon at 3pm and paid 111.9 for regular. I'll let you know if I hear of anything different.
