Zaino or not....?

I went to Square one and pick up bag of Zainos today,
I want to wash my car and zaino it this weekend, however i'd notice some paint issue on this forum saying u should not wax the new G in one to two month to let the paint cure, and some others said it will be fine to zaino the car once u get it.... I'm confused rather to zaino it now or not? what do u guys think about this?

PS. I just got my car last week.

Re: Zaino or not....?

Glad to hear you got your car. I'm still waiting but the dealer called me today and said it should be in early next week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I had the Zaino package ordered a month ago so that I could polish my baby when she gets here, but I don't know whether to wait or not either. With all of the paint chips happening to other G owners that have Zaino'd there cars as soon as they got them, I'm kind of leary of doing it so soon. I think I will wait a month or so before I put it on.

I also pre-ordered the Maya DTM's in 20x9 and 20x10 with AVS sports and they look awesome. I can't wait to get them on the car as soon as it gets here.

Re: Zaino or not....?

Wow, Sammy, you are soooo ready for your G eh?!
even got zaino and wheel ready before picking up your ride!
wel, the time finally come, enjoy your ride next week! (remember to show us some pix with those wheel though)

Yeah, i guess i will wait till end of this month to do it, don't want to risk it... I'm exposing my G to the sunlight whenever it's not rainning now, hopefully can help the paint to get harder!

My Coupe was produced in Nov, and I Zaino'd it when I got it in Jan. Good luck with yours.

Re: Zaino or not....?

It's fine to Zaino immediately. Finish is baked at the factory, and shipping takes time- all ready for your clay bar, Z2 and Z6. It should only be a Q when a repair has been done.

Far easier w/ a new car than one that you hafta peel the bugs off.

Cheers,
Derek
