Zaino is actually not so complicated once you understand it. They sell a whole lot of products and give you a whole bunch of instructions but once you start using it, you will understand it easily and you will end up using it the way you like.
Notes:
-Zaino Z-2 and Zaino Z-5 are the same product, Z-2 just has a better shine, Z-5 just helps with hairline scratches and swirl marks more. If you wish to use Z-5, literally follow all the directions below using Z-5 everywhere Z-2 was mentioned. Do not COMBINE or anything, you use ONE or the OTHER for each coat.
-No obligation to use Zaino Z-7 Show Car Wash. Great product (my preferred auto soap), but just as expensive.
-I am going to assume you purchased the Zaino Total Protection Show Car Kit for $85.
Instructions for a regular application of Zaino, hopefully explained as simply as possible:
1.) Wash your car with Zaino Z-7 Show Car Wash. Obviously, pour some into a bucket and mix with water to create the sudsy soap mixture.
Note: Typically one cap-full of car wash soap for every gallon of water. Wash your car AS THOROUGHLY AS POSSIBLE.
2.) Thoroughly dry your car.
Note: Maybe even wait a couple of hours to let all the random water dry off. Applying auto polish or wax to a wet area is just a waste of product.
3.) Take the ZFX kit (4 empty 2oz mixing bottles, 1 of them with the blue accelerator mixing vial) and grab one mixing bottle and the blue vial. Take Zaino Z-2 Show Car Polish and fill up half the bottle with the stuff, then pour 4-5 drops of the blue stuff in there. Fill up the remaining half, and pour 4-5 more drops into the mixing bottle.
4.) Close the mixing bottle and shake well for 90 seconds straight. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then shake the bottle for another 30 seconds straight. Let us now refer to this solution, for simplicity, as "Zaino".
5.) Take the Zaino and squeeze a dime-size amount onto the foam applicator pad and apply to the car.
Note: When applying to the car, use up-and-down or side-to-side motions (AVOID "wax-on/wax-off" from Karate Kid as that can only create swirls).
6.) Work one section at a time until you have covered the entire car.
Note: When applying the stuff, very little goes a very long way. You should not even need half the bottle to do your own car. I suggested filling up the bottle to the max (2oz) as you will be disgustingly liberal with the product during your first time...with more experience and applications, you will figure out how much you need. Zaino claims 1/3rd of a bottle can provide a coat for a Suburban, although I have never been anywhere near that stingy with the stuff. Good lighting is also important so you can easily see what sections you have done; do not ever think you have not used "enough" Zaino on each section...very little goes a LONG way.
7.) Let the car sit there for a good hour, that should be enough time for the stuff to dry. Take a towel (preferrably microfiber) and buff off all the Zaino solution until your paint is nice and shiny.
Note: You will probably need more than one towel, use only soft towels, and don't worry if there is some dried-off polish residue sitting on some sections after buffing. Before doing this step, you can test to see if the Zaino is dry by putting your bare fingertip on the paint and make a swipe (just like a kid wiping his finger on a dirty chalkboard). Zaino is dry when your finger picks up all the Zaino from that swipe and you just see fresh, shiny paint.
8.) Grab the Zaino Z-6 Gloss Spray and a fresh towel, and spray the paint, one section at a time, and buff the area with a towel. This will get rid of any dried-off residue that step #7 did not take care of.
Note: This is not like the previous steps where you let anything dry; treat this product like Windex or something. Spray on, and dry/buff off with a towel. This product will really come in handy for any dry residue sitting on the paint and/or those harder to access areas where some wax dried off and dry-buffing with a towel did not take care of all of it.
9.) Give the car 24 hours (feel free to drive it during this time) for the coat to fully settle in, wait for a nice sunset and park your car outside and stand 10 feet away and enjoy the view. The paint should be highly reflective and should feel super smooth to the touch.
One coat of Zaino can last for UP TO one year, depending on driving conditions such as climate, how often you drive, whether your car is covered or not when parked, etc. The agreed basic maintenance for Zaino is one coat every 6 months, or one coat every 3 months to maintain show-car shine.
After doing the whole process of applying a coat of Zaino, treat the car normally. Do not hesitate about frequency of car washes or the type of auto soap you use, or whatever.
You can use the Zaino Z-6 after every car wash if you like, to help maintain the coat of Zaino and keep your car looking its best. Feel free to apply more coats of Zaino as often as you like. One coat is extremely strong and effective, but each additional coat improves strength, durability, longevity, and shine.
Personal Notes:
-I apply one coat every 2-3 months and I only stick to Zaino Z-2 (with ZFX, of course). I have not found Zaino Z-5 to help with much, if at all, with the G's hairline scratches and swirl marks.
-I do not use Zaino Z-6 after applying my coat of Zaino, nor do I use it after a car wash. I have a few bottles of the stuff, but I got good at getting rid of all the wax residue after applying and buffing off a coat of Zaino. I'd rather do it, but chalk this one up to my own laziness.
-I use these yellow round foam applicator pads for application, and high-quality microfiber towels for buffing off. A gentle, high-quality microfiber towel will buff off the Zaino faster as well as be easier on the paint. The foam applicator pads are just my personal preference, they just seem to apply the Zaino the quickest and easiest for me, while being easy on the paint.
Finally, the Zaino Z-18 Clay Bar Package, I can explain that process later. If you keep your car decently clean and you apply coats of Zaino accordingly, you only need to clay bar your car once every 18-24 months.
P.S. This took mad long to type, we should use this as a basis for like a "Zaino Newbie's Guide" or something.

Just wondering if its safe to use Dawn on aftermarket wheels? Since it removes all the wax, i dont want it to remove all the clear coat either!
Also, does zaino offer any product to be used as a quick detailer? I was under the impression that z6 can be but looks like its better to be used after each wash. So is there?
