Some things to learn CPK......!

There have been a million posts about debadging, doing a search will inform
you how to and what not to do. Chances are by not using the right product
you ended up scratching the surface of your deck. The letters should have
been removed with fishing line (strong) the glue removed by using GooGone
or WD40 with a soft cloth (which you didn't do) now the scratches can be
removed with either Meguiars Scratch X or Nu Finish Scratch Doctor using
an applicator pad. Ok, the scratches should be gone, now apply a heavy
dose of your favorite wax and the job is done.

ey yeah i debadged my car a while ago. friend helpe me buff it out. car is clean. but if i look extremely close i can see the film residue left from the letters. its like the outline or whatever. i was told to put rubbing alcohol on it so take off the film, but it just made some discoloring in my deck. i applied rubbing alcohol on the G35 part and then it made some discoloring, but when i buffed it out it was clean. i couldnt see the film/outline of the G35 no more. i didnt applie that much rubbing alcohol on the I N F I N I T I part cuz i didnt want discoloring and having the trouble of buffing it out again, so was wondering what is a good product that will take off the film/outline of the letterings with having discoloring? i heard of scratch x and then clean and wax, but is there anything else?
