Klasse All in 1 vs BF Polish/Seal & Num of MFs

Hi again. I have a couple questions before I order a full car cleaning kit from properautocare.com (they have free shipping until the 29th).

I know I'm getting the following:
BlackFire (BF) shampoo
BF Poly Clay II (with lube)

For the polishing and protectant, I'm trying to decide between the Klasse All in One or the BF Polish and BF Protection seperates. Has anyone used both? Is the extra effort of using the BF products worth it, or is the Klasse just as good/better with half the effort?

As for question #2, how many MF towels do you think I should get? I'm thinking along these lines:

1 foam applicator for polish/protectant
1 MF cloth for removing polish
1 MF cloth for removing protectant (if BF used)
1 Big Blue towel for drying car
1 MF cloth for glass
1 MF cloth for interior

Is this going overboard or not enough? What do you all use when detailing your cars in the way of towels/applicators/etc? I think this may exclude Zaino users, as it seems you need like 20 MF towels to do all of your applications =).

I use Klasse, so here's what I suggest you get if you go that route:

- get All-In-One and the Sealant Glaze
- if money/time is no object, get a carnuba to top the whole thing off. It'll shine more and help repel dirt.
- get at least 2 foam applicators for the AIO and SG, in case you drop one in the dirt. The foam apps are better than the cloths for Klasse, since it allows you to put on super thin coats w/ less residue.
- get 4 MF towels, so if one gets swamped with residue during AIO or SG removal, you can just use another clean one.

I don't use MF on the interior or glass, just clean cotton rags. But the nice thing about Klasse AIO is that you can use it on the exterior glass and it bonds quite nicely. Lasts longer than rain-x, but not as effective.

I know Klasse and Blackfire are supposed to give the best shine, but my un-garaged black G didn't hold the Klasse AIO + SG (2 coats) for the whole NY winter, 3.5-4 months. The salt left me with some lovely deep swirls on the sides. I'll live with them for now until I get a garage. I have noticed that AIO w/ 2 coats of the Sealant Glaze hides most any swirl, after the SG is "cured" overnight.

Thanks Andy.

I thought that the glaze was supposed to be applied betwee the polish and protectant applications.

I guess that's why you top it off with a wax? I've been trying to read up on all the products at properautocare.com, and I THINK that the waxes aren't as durable, but look a little nicer.

It's all quite confusing: wash, claybar, polish, glaze, protect, and then occasionally detail. Wow. Who knew there was more to cleaning a car that paying someone $10 and sending through a wash? =)

I think I'm going to try to BF full line to start (shampoo, clay, polish, protectant) and see what kind of results I get. I bought some Stoner Invisible Glass and 5 MF cloths at WalMart today (all for like $8!!). The rest I'm ordering from properautocare tonight.

Now all I need is my car!!

I use the Klasse twins AIO/SG with a topper coat of Pinnacle Souveran an the results are stunning. This combo is very easy to apply/remove. You don't really need MF for the interior or the application of AIO/SG...a foam applicator is best I think. The topper coat of wax is not necessary, but I think it gives a little more depth to the finish, plus more durability for the SG.
