Not really looking forward to ordering just the wax. Does Meguires or somone offer an off the shelf type spray on/wipe off sealant that's like the Optimium?

The OW is great as it doesn't put that white wax on the black finishes. Looking for the same protection/ease of use from a product available locally.

I personally have never used Optimum Spray Wax, however, most of the local shelf products out of a spray bottle I have just never had success with.

I'm a huge Zaino Z6/Z8 fan, and I just buy them in bulk...3-4 at a time to make it worth it. Then again...I go through a bottle of Z6 every few weeks and a bottle of Z8 about every 2 months.

Just my opinion...but any of the readily available "quick" anything is just not that good...

Reading some application and reviews now. Serious detailers are using it over a wax. But in reality, I'll be using this by itself. I assume this is okay.

I'm reading that it lasts alot longer than OW, which is a good sign.

I dunno, I use it to maintain my sealants so I don't really have a good idea of its longevity. I wax the car ~ every 3-4 months and I apply AW usually once a month/1.5 months, so I've never had it wear past the AW and sealant. Its cheap enough and easy enough to apply every time you wash though, some people spray it onto a wet car, and then dry as normal and it seems to hold up well. I personally apply it after drying and probably use too much, but the cost is so low its not really wasteful IMO. LMK if you can't find it locally and want to test it, I can lend you my bottle to try out. I get it back home in portland at my local carquest

Quick question. Can this stuff be used over black plastic like the OW product?

It's hard to beat the shine or slickness if Z8 imo.
