Can anyone point me in the direction of some comprehensive directions of which pad to use with Mezerna polishes and a PC?

edit: found this: https://g35driver.com/forums/care-detailing/141057-detailing-caring-your-ride.html

Thanks.

was SIP used on all the body or just the areas with the severe scratches?
should SIP be used on a vehicle that does not have as severe scratches or swirls?

Will SIP tackle these scratches? My roommates dog, 1.5 yr old german shep. has long *** nails. The scratches are beside the trunk. Sorry bout all the dust, its been cold and rainy and I just havent gotten round to rinsing her off.

Just from the pic I would say yes, SIP should be able to handle those scratches as they don't look super deep.

You can use SIP on the entire car even if the scratches aren't super bad. You can ease the aggressiveness simply by switching up the pad that's used. For instance a white isn't very aggressive and can be matched very nicely with SIP. Depending on the color of the car and how well you can work the polish, you might have to go over the paint again with a finishing polish but SIP can finish off nicely. 106ff would be another great polish to use too.

for the scratches in my pic how agressive a pad should I use?
excuse my inexperience, i love taking care of my car; i dont let anyone wash my car and I strictly use microfiber; im just not a detailer.
