Best wax I have ever used!

I have had four show cars, built 4 world championship winning IASCA/USAC cars, and have detailed all of my cars for years. I have tried Zymol, Zaino, Miguiars, and countless others. I tried this wax called Dulon per the recomendation of a fellow car show hot rodder. This wax is awsome! It is the longest lasting shine I have ever had. Here is a link if anyone is interested. www.dulon.com

Re: Best wax I have ever used!

So I did a quick scan on their site and was wondering if this is good for red paint? I am in the market for wax and I'm not into the 5 step Zaino process. Also what are the prices like?

Re: Best wax I have ever used!

I have twilight blue. My question is how does it hold up after a week or so and you wash it? Seems like everything I try, a week later I wash it and the finish has hazy spots that almost look oily. Sure you can hit em with a towel but then you end up buffing the whole thing again. The next day I've got the same thing. So I usually end up cleaning and then waxing again. I want something that dries hard and shiny and stays that way. No haze the next week.

Re: Best wax I have ever used!

The guy who turned me on to dulon has red car. It has a $8,000 custom paint job that looks very slick. He only uses this wax per his painter. Also its not a wax its a polymer. Carnuba wax will break down and evaporate at 110 degrees. Since dulon is a polymer it does not do this thus it lasts longer and does not build up. He gave me the wax to try, I will get you prices soon.

I own a ivory pearl, what do you think the affect of the wax will be on the paint? Also, have you had any side effects with this wax 4080?

G35's are sick off the hook people. I give props to anyone who owns one.

No side effects from using Dulon. Other than now I need more of it.

Re: Best wax I have ever used!

I may try this Dulon; on a recent recommendation from my neighbor (he has a Honda S2000 which he diaper's daily ;-), I tried Meguiar's NXT for my 2004 black G35 Sedan. It claims to get rid of and prevent swirl marks, but after 1 waxing, I'm not impressed. I still have plenty of swirl marks and some parts of my car are a bit hazy while other parts a sort of gritty. I followed the directions to the T but only used a terrycloth towel and good old fashioned elbow grease as I don't own a buffer. I've used Zymol for many years and like it, but it can be somewhat "greasy" looking and doesn't prevent swirlmarks.

Have you had similar experiences with NXT and would this Dulon get rid of the swirlmarks on my black G35? Thank you.

Re: Best wax I have ever used!

You all need to try the new Waxing Frenzy wax. They now have a new version made for cars.
I have been a Zaino user since 98. I have also tried NXT, Klasse, Sovereign, etc etc.

Waxing Frenzy will bring out the color of your car and make it look like liquid paint. It also reduces the swirl marks dramatically. They initally brought out a wax for the harsh marine enviroment. I tried it on my boat, and never looked back. EVERYONE on the baoting forums loves it. They "just" came out with a version for cars.
You can order it at www.cleaningfrenzy.com
I don't even think the website shows the car wax. But email them to get the car wax.
Stuff is awsome!!

The pic is of my 4 year old work truck that never gets waxed. It looks even better on a good finish!!

Re: Best wax I have ever used!

Would you fellas tell us how easy it is to remove and specific details such as the length of time you left it on before removing, did you do the entire car at once, etc.? Does it dry to a dry, powdery haze or does it come off while still a little moist. Basically, tips on using and ease of removal.

Sometimes, the manufacturers' directions of "let dry to a haze" don't exaclty convey the best method. Some require total drying, while others are nearly impossible to remove once completely dry... ...at least with anything less than a clean towel per 12" square. lol
